Dean Wingrove PGA

Golf professional and Director of Golf, Dean has been a member of the PGA for 23 years. He turned pro at 17 and worked for more than four years as an assistant golf professional to Russell Daley at Royal Wimbledon Golf Club.

Known for his outstanding coaching skills at Royal Wimbledon he began to travel with the European Tour as coach to several top players including Roger Chapman, Gordon Brand Jr and Paul Way.

He joined Wimbledon Park Golf Club as senior assistant professional in 1984 and has enjoyed a reputation as the 'putting doctor' ever since. Head professional since 1989 Dean's students and peers have long praised his teaching skills, and his election as Captain of the Surrey PGA in 1998 –WPGC's centenary year - is testament to this.

Lessons are available with Dean Wingrove by appointment seven days a week, to both members and non-members at the following prices:

• £45 for 40 minutes
• £65 for 60 minutes
• £125 for a 6-hole playing lesson
• £50 for a putting lesson

All the above lessons may be taken in pairs for an additional £5.

Dean Jeeves PGA

Dean first joined WPGC in 1995 and became a fully qualified professional teaching all standards of players while at the same time creating a thriving junior section. He left in 2002 to become a professional at Real Club de Golf Campoamor in Spain and after a year abroad returned to the UK as professional at Kingshill Golf Club before returning to WPGC.

As head assistant to Dean Wingrove, Dean has quickly picked up where he left off and the junior section continues to blossom. With the newly formed squads (1st team, girls and development) the future for junior golf at WPGC looks very bright indeed.
